We seek to use live theater primarily to supplement and reinforce the teaching of God’s word, but also on special occasions for the enhancement of the other ministries and for evangelistic outreach. Drama is more than just actors! Writers, set designers, costumers, and artists… you are most welcomed!
When persons of faith become aware of who God is and what He has done, they sing. The choirs are formed on special occasions to mobilize people for service who can sing and/or support the choir in order to proclaim the word of Christ through song.
God loves to hear His people worship Him! The praise band helps the church enter into His presence through music and to worship Him in spirit and truth. This team is comprised of experienced and skilled musicians who make this their primary ministry.
God works through prayer! The prayer teams seek the Lord in prayer before, during and after Sunday services. As S.D. Gordon said, this is when the real ministry happens.
Our worship services incorporate the regular use of the stage as a setting for worship and teaching. This team helps organize, design and build whatever is needed for worship services and special events. As well as staff the stage during performances and other services.
Lighting operators and sound engineers are needed to help us not only hear and see what’s happening at worship and special events, but to enhance it as well. The teams rotate throughout the year and will be trained.
Bay Area Community Church desires to communicate biblical truth in culturally relevant ways. Graphic designers, computer operators, camera operators, and creative thinkers help speak clearly through the modern language of media. This team goes to work every week to create what we see in the services each week.
Since the days of Moses, God has given worship leaders to His people to lead them into His presence. We need worship leaders in every ministry! This community was recently formed to encourage, resource and equip worship leaders regularly. If you are a musician of any kind and have a passion to lead worship, God may be calling on you to join us!
