hy membership? It isn't enough to simply attend church services. We want to see you growing, connected in authentic Christian community, and cared for. We call our participating members "Ministry Partners." We affirm that everyone who trusts in Jesus Christ is part of the one worldwide church of believing people whose Head is Christ Jesus our Lord (Eph. 1:20-22; Col. 1:15-20). In addition, we also believe the New Testament recognizes, tangible, functioning local churches comprised of identifiable members. When Paul writes to "all the saints in Christ Jesus which are in Philippi", he is addressing a localized body of believers - a membership with a definite leadership, as he goes on immediately to add "with the overseers and deacons" (Phil. 1:1; c.f. also Acts 14:23; 20:17, 28-30; Heb. 13:17; I Tim. 3:1-16; I Pet.5:1-4).
