Discovery Weekend is our version of a membership class. Rather than dragging this out over weeks, we offer it during an upbeat informative weekend of sessions taught by our church leadership that includes creative teaching approaches. You will grow in your faith as well as learn the biblical basis for our mission, core values, and approach to ministry. Another important part of Discovery Weekend is an orientation to small groups and various ministries at Bay Area. Discovery is required for those who want to join and lead at Bay Area Community Church. We offer Discovery Weekend three times each year in our meeting room at our church offices. A children's program is offered during Discovery for those families with young children. The next Discovery Weekend is scheduled for May 3rd and 4th in the Fireside Room.
